About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Planner to join a well-established and reputable construction company based near Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in delivering high-profile projects across various sectors, including industrial, residential, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning software.

• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure the effective coordination of resources and timelines.

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

• Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting any deviations from the schedule.

• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other third parties to ensure alignment with the project programme.

• Prepare planning documentation, including tender programmes, construction schedules, and progress reports.

• Conduct site visits to assess progress and support project teams in schedule adherence.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Planner within the construction industry.

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and logistics.

• Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, or MS Project.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of relevant construction regulations and industry best practices.
