The Role

Reporting into the Buyer and Procurement Manager; you will be responsible for carrying out the timely, efficient processing and administration activities to support the project buyer / procurement team.

Daily activities will include:
  • Converting requisitions into Purchase Orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage new and existing orders, maintaining data integrity on the COINS and other in-house system.
  • Calculate landed costs and compare pricing and product from multiple suppliers. (3 quotes)
  • Producing ad hoc reports and gathering information as required for internal customers.
  • Monitoring current plant specification templates, ensuring all hires comply with company requirements.
  • Ensure the Purchase Order Process is completed efficiently and accurately.

The Person

As the ideal candidate you will have the following qualifications and be able to demonstrate the following experience:
  • A procurement or business administration related qualification
  • Ability to use processes & systems (e.g. COINS)
  • High level of Numeracy and literacy skills
  • Experience of collation of supplier information from various sources.
  • Previously held a procurement administrative role and advantage
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Well organised and able to 'multi-task'
