Contracts Manager

PSR Solutions are currently looking for a Contracts Manager in Kent, this will be working for a Civils specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring progression on site, daily.
• Procurement of materials, plant and equipment on site when needed.

• Assessment of sub-contractors quality and progress in the project.

• Monitor performance against the contracts program.
• Maintaining a proactive culture towards the health and safety of all aspects of the site at all times.
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues and subcontractors on each contract.
• Attending progress meetings.
• Reporting directly to company stakeholders on a regular basis with regards to the performance of the contract.

Person Specification:

The successful candidate will need considerable experience in the Civil and water sectors as well as an appreciation of other aspects of engineering.

Essential:

• Experience in Civil Engineering and as a Contracts Manager for a contractor.
• Working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting.
• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering
• Excellent communication, people, and team management skills
• Be able to demonstrate the right behaviours and lead the team to ensure the culture is in line with our values
• Be able to motivate and lead the team in line with the Company culture, ensuring high standards of compliance
