A highly respected, family-run contractor within the social housing sector is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their growing team in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for either a current Contracts Manager or an ambitious Project Manager ready to step up into a more senior role.

The business has built a strong reputation over many years for delivering high-quality refurbishment and planned maintenance works across the region, with a commitment to customer service, long-term relationships, and community impact.

🔍 The Role:

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing multiple refurbishment and planned maintenance contracts, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery across all projects. This role requires a strong social housing background, solid reporting skills, and the ability to ensure internal procedures are followed to the highest standards.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the delivery of multiple planned maintenance and refurbishment projects within social housing

• Coordinating site teams and subcontractors to maintain performance, safety, and quality

• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring professional communication and satisfaction

• Producing and maintaining accurate progress, financial and H&S reports

• Ensuring full compliance with internal processes, health & safety legislation, and contractual obligations

• Identifying risks and resolving operational issues in a proactive manner

✅ Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience within the social housing sector, ideally with a focus on planned maintenance and refurbishment

• Strong reporting and procedural compliance capabilities

• Demonstrable experience managing multiple sites and teams

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• A collaborative and hands-on leadership style

• Suitable for a Contracts Manager or a confident Project Manager ready to take the next career step
