Project Manager

PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Project Manager in the Cambridgeshire area. This will be working for a Tier 1 Contractor on a Civils and Highways Framework. They will be looking for someone with a good amount of background with managing a team and delivering Civils/Highways frameworks in the past.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the site team are fully apprised of the contract parameters and have the capability and resources necessary to achieve contract objectives.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers ensuring compliance to all contractual and safety requirements.
• Deliver the project from delivery phase to completion including all handover documentation
• Approve and implement project quality plans, safety plans, work package plans, ITPs and Tool Box Talks.
• Chair weekly site meetings and ensure the production of accurate records of any discussions and actions
• Be responsible for the operational and commercial success of allocated projects, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with legal, client and company requirements, policies and instructions.
• Ensuring that the contract is executed in accordance with the requirements of:
• All applicable legislation
• The Terms and Conditions of the contract
• The Contract Health and Safety Plan
• The Contract Quality/Environmental Plan
• Delivery of the contract within programme and budget.
• Control and management of sub contract resources to the highest levels of safety, quality and efficiency.
• The continuous monitoring of contract progress to ensure contract objectives are being met.
• Ensuring that, in conjunction with the Project Delivery Team, changes to the contract are identified, agreed and effectively managed.
• The provision of formal reports on contract progress to the Senior team.
• They have projects all over Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Kent and Bedfordshire, so may have to travel between a few of the jobs in those areas.

Requirements:

• Degree / HNC or HND in civil engineering
• 5-10+ years of Project Management
• Experience as a Project Manager in a Civils and Highways contracting environment.
