Site Engineer

PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Commercial Groundworks Sector to recruit a Site Engineer to Join their Production team on a permanent basis. This role will cover projects across the East & West Midlands Regions.

Site Engineer Roles and Responsibilities

• Use site plans, technology, and instruments to mark the location of foundations, walls, access roads, and more.
• Ensure that construction projects start correctly and proceed as planned.
• Overseeing the setting out and surveying of construction sites
• Ensuring that all measurements and levels are accurate
• Assisting with project planning and collaborating with the project team.
• As part of the Engineering team, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of projects
• Use clear markers to indicate where structures are going to be installed.
• Ensure that workers on the site adhere to the markers.
• Monitor the construction process to ensure that the building is being constructed correctly.

Site Engineer Requirements

• Must have experience working in Commercial Groundworks
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other surveying software
• Strong understanding of construction principles and practices
• Experience in setting out and surveying on construction sites
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Full clean driving license
