Role: Site Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000
Starting: As soon as possible
Reporting to: Project Manager
PSR are working with a multi-disciplinary main contractor based in the Midlands that excels in the delivery of civil engineering projects on a national scale, they work across civil engineering, water, transport and energy. They are looking for an enthusiastic Site Engineer to join their team, prior experience working on water is essential, having worked on a previous AMP cycle is advantageous.
The Site Engineer is responsible for seeing each phase of a particular project through to completion including but not limited to:
- Ensuring Compliance with all aspects of H&S
- Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, site supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
- Setting out, levelling and surveying the site in accordance with the drawings
- Liaising with the Project Manager regarding construction programme, programme constraints etc.,
- Resolving technical issues with employer's representatives, suppliers, subcontractors and statutory authorities,
- Quality control in accordance with company procedures, method statements, quality plans and inspection and test plans
