Job description

PSR Solutions are currently looking for a project manager to join the capital projects team leading commercial real estate service firm, The company's core services include property sales, leasing and management, facilities and project management, investment management and, research and consulting. In Central London.

The Capital Projects team provides project management and monitoring services across a variety of sectors such as Offices, Retail, Industrial, Hotels and Residential. The team currently comprises of 17 fee earners, including 5 Health and Safety Consultants. To enable further growth and to service current secured business, we are currently looking for a Project Manager to join the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with the company strategy, commitments and goals
  • Manage internal and external project teams (consulting and contracting) in the successful delivery of all projects and lead the planning and implementation of project
  • Assist / Manage in defining the project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Assist / Manage in the definition of project tasks and resource requirements
  • Assist / Prepare / Manage in the development of project programmes and overall strategy plans
  • Assist / Manage in the assembly and coordination of project teams as required to suit complexity of the project
  • Participate in the management of project budgets
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Assist in the monitoring and reporting on progress of the projects to all stakeholders
  • Assist / Prepare / Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Participate in the implementation and management of project changes
  • Participate in providing efficient and timely support to other service lines where required to assist in securing instructions
  • Identify and deliver opportunities to cross sell to other service lines
  • Identify fee earning opportunities within both internal market place and external market place
  • Directly contribute to the overall annual fee target of the Capital Projects team

Person Specification/Requirements
  • MRICS qualified (Project Management or Building Surveying) with circa 12 months post qualified experience
  • Experience in Project Management or a Contract Administration role
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management techniques and tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build working relationships in a diverse team environment
  • Leads by example, and can influence, lead and motivate others through action as well as words
  • Assertive, persuasive and self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable to cope with fast track projects and changing client requirements
