The Client:

My client are a subsidiary of a global Civil Engineering and Infrastructure conglomerate. They operate as a Tier 1 contractor and have a turnover exceeding £11Billion annually and are renowned as specialists in highways construction. As a company, they have been involved in large scale UK and international construction projects within Highways, Marine and Airfield sectors , they also offering highways maintenance services and produce their own products in use on the roads today.

About the Role:

My client are looking to add an accomplished Project Manager who can deliver projects from inception to completion, adhering to the highest possible health, safety and environmental standards. The right candidate with have a proven track record in engineering highways, drainage and civil engineering schemes. The Right Candidate:

  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in a similar Civils/Infrastructure role.
  • Knowledge civil engineering and construction management processes, systems and standards.
  • Previous project experience working on S278, Footbridges or Structures, Junction Improvements/Highways.
  • Excellent Communicator / interfacing skills.
  • Sound Commercial Acumen (including budget management and cost/waste control).
  • Degree qualified or HNC and above.
  • SMSTS
  • Previous work as Project Manager running projects up to £10Million is advantageous
  • Experience of managing the entire site, including Site Agents, Engineers and Commercial team members.
  • Management and control of all site staff.
