Position: Senior Project Manager (Project Lead)

Salary: £70,500 - 75,500 + £7,200 Car / Car allowance + Pension + Health

Region: Swindon, Wiltshire

My client is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Project Lead) to be based as the lead on a Design & Build scheme in Swindon. The organisation is a main building contractor who has a reputation in delivering high quality schemes ranging from £10M to £80M in value. This particular scheme has a build value of £18M. It will include the demolition and new build of an office block and associated steel frame warehouse.

The company carry out work across all sectors; however their reputation is strong in the sector of Commercial/ Mixed-use & Distribution projects.

The successful Senior Project Manager would need to be able to manage the following:-

Pre Construction
  • Manage the 12 week conversion from feasibility sign off to full contractors proposals issue in 12 weeks with the DM's and QS's.
  • Manage the market testing of the project within the 12 week CP production process with the QS including management of derogation/clarifications etc.
  • Undertake all health and safety planning.

  • Project deliver to all safety, cost and programme/quality targets. Snag free, On Time, RIDDOR free with a Delighted Client.
  • Will be supported by a team of site managers and engineers.

Ideal candidate
  • Pre construction proven track record.
  • Delivery of residential/ student accommodation schemes across central London.
  • SMSTS minimum.
  • CSCS card.
