Position: Proposals Coordinator

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Proposals Co-ordinator to join a successful Main Building Contractor in Solihull.

The pre-construction team is a busy and very successful department in a very successful firm. They work on a diverse range of projects utilising all methods of construction and cutting-edge IT to give the client more of what they want and at a more competitive price, culminating in a win ratio of 1 in 2. They a profitable, growing business with repeat clients stretching back over 20 years.

Duties - Tender Set Up
  • Read and identify tender deliverable
  • Propose response document structure
  • Allocated technical document deliverables to bid team
  • Research employer and employers design team members (coordinate with business development)
  • Complete tender briefing note, present bid to internal bid team
  • Print and collate tender documents

  • Technical Document Presentation
  • Work with standard in-design template to collate and present proposals
  • Provide template and design solutions for bespoke tender documents (when required)
  • Write and contribute to document sections
  • Proof read sections from internal and external teams
  • Manage, track and collate tender document information
  • Provide document draft/sketch book, collate and action comments
  • Create attractive consistent and visually pleasing page layouts and documents
  • Specify technical document print production requirements
  • Attain technical document external print and production prices

  • Final Document
  • Proof read and preprint flight checks
  • Issue final document in print quality format with page bleeds, no image pixilation
  • Document upload to external site (print press and extranet)
  • Coordinate financial document and final delivery of document

  • The Requirements:
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to multi task and to work on multiple tenders / PQQs and prioritise accordingly.
  • Highly motivated, flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Ability to work individually, and as part of a team.
  • An eye for detail and a thorough and methodical approach.
  • Ability to identify key win strategies.
  • Creative thinker who can come up with innovative submission ideas.
