Purchase Ledger Clerk


Full Time / Permanent


Purchase Ledger Clerk required to work for a Building Services Client working in Birmingham.

You must have at least 5 years experience running a purchase ledger or assisting to run a purchase ledger.

You will be responsible for
  • Processing at least 1200 a month
  • Liaising with Engineers and Suppliers
  • Managing the invoicing process from start to finish
  • Running payments and importing into bank software

This role will suit someone who has
  • Good understanding of the importance of nominal codes
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office systems
  • Experience of working in a purchase ledger role within the accounts department
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure

It would be advantageous that you have worked in the construction or engineering sectors
