My Client has a requirement for a Senior
Health & Safety Advisor The company is a principle main contractor who deliver both medium and large projects £15M to £80M; typically within the sectors of Commercial, Industrial and Retail.
- the role, reporting to the Group Safety Director and Construction Director is to oversee safety matters on construction sites across the greater midlands are ~ both East and West Midlands.
Typical duties would include:- Carry out regular inspections of the sites to ensure that the work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures and the relevant Statutory Provisions.
- Assist with carrying out accident/incident investigations in accordance with the Company Accident/Incident Reporting
- Procedure and analysing all data, making recommendations to avoid any recurrences
- Assist with ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan
- Maintain records as necessary to ensure compliance with Statutory Legislation and Contract Requirements
- Carry out site inductions and other training as required.
Qualifications & Experience - Experience of working with a Principle Main Contractor
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Experience of complex / large scale construction projects
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety
- IOSH Managing Safely Certificate or CMIOSH
