The Company

An international Construction Company, with over 150 year's experience within the built environment. The have recently won a number of standalone and framework civil engineering projects in Gatwick up to £10,000,000.

The Role

Reporting into the Regional Commercial Manager, you will have responsibility for delivering projects from procurement through to Final Accounts, working under an NEC3 form of contract.

Working on landside projects, you will be responsible for managing works including: groundwork's, piling, drainage, etc.

With the shovels in the ground at the start of next year for the first project, you will initially undertake subcontract procurement, then manage all works through to Final Accounts.

As a key member of the delivery team, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
  • Compiling monthly/periodically application for payment information;
  • Developing effective working relationships with members of the project management team;
  • Identification and valuation of variations;
  • Implementation of change control procedures;
  • Measurement of work done and administration of site records;
  • Preparation and issuance of contractual notices;
  • Procurement of suppliers and sub-subcontractors.
  • Provide support with financial reporting for projects;
  • Understand contract requirements and assist with contractual correspondence;
  • Understanding of risk and identifying the implications of actions taken by yourself and the project team.
  • Ability to resolve issues in a friendly and efficient manner whilst maintaining excellent client relations
  • IT literate - Microsoft Office Suite
