Job description

The Company:

This expanding, residential developer/contractor are known for building high quality homes for the private, affordable and luxury market are looking for a Senior Technical Co-ordinator to join their West London team.

The Role:

This person will be working on a project in Harrow first which consists of a 1000 unit scheme with the idea of then moving on to a brand new project also in harrow which will consists of 1,150 units reporting into a Technical Manager.



The ideal candidate will have the following attributes and knowledge.




Management of external consultants to ensure information is received, co-ordinated and distributed on time and within budget.



Input into land appraisal processes.



Attend and contribute to project meetings ensuring that all necessary actions are completed in a timely manner.



Manage the distribution and control of technical information using "doc hosting" programme



Liaise and negotiate with Planning Officers, Consultants etc to ensure projects achieve the set objectives and programmes.



Tendering of consultant services and selection of consultants in liaison with Technical Manager / Senior Technical Manager



Maintain fee schedules and manage consultant payments



Management of utility providers including sourcing quotations, coordination and payments.



Liaison and coordination with other internal departments as necessary.



Liaison with the sales team in the preparation and verification of sales literature.



Information collation for the preparation of the Homeowners Pack by the sales team.



Verification of conveyance plans.



Assist the Technical Manager with control and management of regulatory changes (e.g Building Regulations, Planning, Code for Sustainable Homes etc)



Assist with the establishment of new technical department systems and procedures

The Person:

The successful candidate will ideally be from a design background but not necessarily essential and would need an equivalent construction related degree. You will need to have experience working for either a main contractor or developer with experience of high end residential apartment/schemes.
