Job description

My client is looking to recruit 2x Advisor roles (see below for details). This will be on an 18 month contract, with the potential to go permanent after that depending on how the project develops. The project is high rise recladding in occupied tower blocks, so ideally for both roles we need people experienced in fire, high rise and working around the public.
  • SHE Advisor:
    • Overview
      • Review project SHE arrangements across the tower Blocks on a regular basis as agreed with SHE Manager and complete detailed VMR. Ensuring consistent application of SHE standards
      • Coach project leads on risk identification and mitigation
      • Lead investigations into incidents
      • Complete regular reviews of project RAMS and plans ensuring they are timely and fit for purpose
      • Promote the use of Airsweb in the recording of incidents, ensure the timely close out of all recorded actions
      • Support local project teams in the development of project safety arrangements and collation of handover material
      • Work with the project team in leading SHE interventions at site level
      • Communicate learning and good practice from within and outside the business to project leaders
      • Ensure compliance to WPS
    • Qualifications
      • Has CMIOSH or equivalent (or working towards)
      • NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ level 4 or equivalent (or working towards)
  • Quality Standards Advisor:
    • Overview
      • Develop and implement a suitable and accurate means of monitoring the works, recording quality of installations at key hold points and recording evidence via photos and inspections to demonstrate a compliant installation
      • Develop operational teams skills on the practical application of the Operating Framework and quality management.
      • Positively influence teams and key supply chain members behaviours so they actively deliver customer satisfaction and strive to reduce mistakes, rework and defects
      • Carry out compliance reviews (internal audits) in accordance with ISO 19011:2011 on the project covering activities and key supply chain members. Provide accurate reports and publish to relevant parties. Ensure corrections are recorded with and closed out by the project team
      • Oversee construction practice and actively manage quality to help ensure compliance with statutory and client requirements
    • Qualifications
      • Quality Practitioner (PCQI)
      • Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 / ISO 45001:2018
      • Good knowledge of construction technology ideally in fire and cladding / external envelope works
