A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a keen-eyed Site Engineer working for a leading Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor in Lincolnshire. You will be working on a large multi-million pound venture, areas of expertise on our client are detailed below.

  • Bridges & Structures
  • Housing Infrastructure
  • Public Realm
  • Public Recreational Areas

  • You will be required to work on a £14m Highways project with further opportunities of work in the region.

What your day-to-day looks like
  • You will act as a Technical Advisor on-site for Subcontractors, Craftspeople and other Operatives.
  • Setting out site for project.
  • You will be required to use a variety of measuring instrumentation.
  • Auto-CAD experience is advantageous.
  • You will be able to supply co-ordinates for footings for foundations and framework.
  • Able to work to tight tolerance levels within 2mm.
  • Line & levelling of project with continued focus toward accurate tolerance.
  • Once job is near completion, work on externals will also be required to discuss and measure out externals.
  • You will have experience in the supervision of subcontractors for duration of project.

Skills and experience needed
  • The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or (HNC/HND).
  • SSSTS will be required as well as CSCS Gold Card
  • Previous experience in Highways or work on similar sized projects.
