Step into a pivotal role guiding crane lifts, keeping your team safe, and driving projects forward in and around Chichester. If you hold a valid Harness Safety Ticket and thrive on precision, this contract is your chance to shine on high-impact sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and signal crane operations to ensure safe and accurate lifts

• Attach, slinging and unhook loads in line with risk assessments

• Communicate effectively with crane drivers, riggers, and site supervisors

• Inspect slings, shackles, and lifting gear before use

• Maintain clear documentation of lift plans and safety checks

• Supporting main gate

Essential Requirements

• Valid Harness Safety Ticket

• Proven experience as a slinger banksman on construction or industrial sites

• CSCS card or equivalent accreditation

• Strong understanding of lifting regulations (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998)

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Desirable

• Familiarity with large-scale civil engineering or utilities projects

• Additional lifting certifications (e.g., Slinger Signaller)
