PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Temporary Works Coordinator to work on the flagship project for HS2!

The Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) leads all aspects of the design, including coordination, submission, compliance, programming and management of design, engineering and assurance, maintaining and updating the Temporary Works Procedure (WI300).

The Temporary Works Coordinator is responsible for fulfilling the Construction Partner's responsibilities under BS5975 and the Employer's Temporary Works Procedure. The Temporary Works Coordinator will makes sure that the Temporary Works procedure will comply with:
  • HS2 Temporary Works Procedure,
  • BS5975 'Code of practice for Temporary Works procedures and the permissible stress design of falsework',
  • BSI PAS 8811 'Temporary works - Major infrastructure client procedures - Code of practice'
  • BSIPAS 8812 'Temporary works - Application of European Standards in design - Guide' and 'Technical Standard - Temporary Works' (HS2‐HS2‐CV‐STD‐000‐000005)



  • Temporary Works Designers, Supervisors and checkers will be appointed as and when required by the Designated Individual or the TWC in accordance with the Temporary Works Procedure.

    Technical competencies
  • Have excellent communication skills (including presentation skills) in English, both written and verbal and the ability to report at both Project and Board level.
  • Ability to manage teams of people in a multi-disciplinary environment. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead and manage own time.
  • A good working knowledge of the:
  • Health & Safety at Work Act 1974,
  • Construction Health, Safety and Welfare Regulations 1996
  • Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015
  • Management of health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and
  • other relevant legislation
