Job Opportunity: Groundworker - £18/hour (Lancaster)
We're looking for a skilled Groundworker to join our team on a busy civils site in Lancaster. If you're experienced in groundwork and hold a valid dumper ticket, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Details:
- Position: Groundworker
- Location: Lancaster
- Pay Rate: £18 per hour
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 17:00
Role Responsibilities:
- Carrying out general groundworks, including drainage, foundations, and concreting.
- Preparing and leveling construction sites.
- Laying pipes, kerbs, and edging.
- Operating dumpers as required on-site.
- Working closely with site supervisors and tradespeople.
- Ensuring site safety and cleanliness at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a groundworker, ideally on civils or construction projects.
- A valid CSCS card and dumper ticket are required.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety on-site.
- Additional tickets (such as roller or other plant machinery) are advantageous but not essential.
