Day Rate: £220 - £260 per day (depending on experience)
Duration: 3 months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00

Overview:
We are currently looking to recruit two experienced Joiners to carry out fire door remediation works on a large-scale residential project in Liverpool. The scope of work includes student accommodation and apartment buildings, with a focus on ensuring all fire doors are brought up to regulatory standards.

This is a 3-month contract offering consistent work, competitive day rates, and immediate start for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out remedial works on existing fire doors and frames in accordance with current fire safety standards.

• Replace or repair door components including hinges, closers, intumescent strips, smoke seals, and thresholds.

• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with relevant building and fire safety regulations.

• Work independently or as part of a small team, maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

• Accurately record completed works and communicate effectively with site supervisors.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fire door joinery and remedial work.

• Valid CSCS card.

• Own tools and PPE appropriate for joinery tasks.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications related to fire doors.

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.

• Punctual, reliable, and able to work to deadlines.
