Senior Finisher Required - Burton-on-Trent

Pay Rate: £23.00 - £24.00 per hour (CIS)
Location: Burton-on-Trent
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 1 month (potential to extend)
Hours: Monday to Friday, standard site hours

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Finisher to join a housing development project in Burton-on-Trent.
This is a hands-on role that involves both managing a small team of finishers and completing finishing tasks personally to ensure plots are ready for client handover.

The successful candidate will take ownership of snagging and finishing standards across site, coordinating workload, monitoring quality, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Typical duties will include:

• Overseeing and supporting a team of finishers on site

• Carrying out finishing and snagging works (joinery, mastic, patch plastering, touch-ups, etc.)

• Ensuring plots are completed to high-quality standards and ready for inspection

• Liaising closely with site management to plan and prioritise work

• Maintaining quality control and reporting progress

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finisher, Senior Finisher, or Finishing Foreman

• Strong finishing skills with the ability to lead by example

• Valid CSCS Card - essential

• Own tools and PPE

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a small team effectively

• Reliable, organised, and proactive approach
