Steel Fixer - Leeds (Civils Project)
We are currently seeking two experienced Steel Fixers for a civils project in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Our client operates across the Midlands and the North of England, delivering high-quality formwork and reinforcement services to the construction industry.
Steel Fixer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Health and Safety: Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and the use of appropriate protective equipment at all times.
- Reinforcement Installation: Install and secure steel bars, mesh, and reinforcement structures for concrete formwork on-site.
- Cutting and Shaping: Cut, bend, and shape steel reinforcements according to project specifications.
- Following Technical Drawings: Accurately interpret and work from technical drawings and plans to ensure precise reinforcement placement.
Steel Fixer Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Steel Fixer on civil engineering or construction projects.
- Proficiency in cutting and shaping steel bars.
- Ability to read and work from construction drawings.
- CSCS Card required.
- Safety Level 1 certification.
Job Details:
- Duration: 4 weeks.
- Pay Rate: Up to £18.00 per hour.
- Working Hours: 7:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
