PSR directors acknowledge staff achievements at conference

It’s the time of year that we all love, a hot date with our directors and colleagues from our Midlands and London offices where we get to recognise achievements, set aspirations, eat, drink and be merry.

This year’s annual conference was set amidst the cultural backdrop of the RSA in the heart of Westminster, London.  Set just off the Strand, the smart venue played host to PSR’s 70 staff as they received a warm welcome from directors James Sanders and David Berks, who showcased an inspiring video entitled ‘Believe’. The video set the tone for a review of the year’s business and an impassioned delivery of PSR’s 2017 aspirations from James. People development head, Franc Petrini’s keynote reinforced that each and every member of the PSR team has access to excellent in -house training and development as well as shared resources on-tap via the new intranet, whilst director John Berks shared some key stats to inspire reflection and motivate the teams. 

Top performing staff who’d made promotion this year also received some much-deserved recognition for their significant achievements this year, well done again to Nathan, Charlotte, Rob and Tom!

After a chance to sample some RSA smoothies and top up on caffeine, a lively Q&A session followed…

Steven Ware had clearly been expecting the Brexit question and prepped a strong and positive response to the floor, we also enjoyed listening to each of the director’s favourite PSR incentive holidays from previous years, seems like Chamonix was a truly unforgettable trip! Steven also relished the opportunity to inspire up and coming recruiters by advising that a winning way to beat the competition is always, simply, to be different!

Following the glittering awards ceremony (where tears of joy and delight were witnessed when holidays to Dubai and Dublin were handed out!) the PSR team danced their socks off in the RSA caverns to DJ Raf Hale-0 and live saxophonist Lindsay Goodhand!
