PSR Group acquire SYK healthcare specialists

PSR Group are delighted today to announce the acquisition of SYK Healthcare Specialists to offer a unified Healthcare recruitment service to the health and social care market. PSR will acquire the entirety of SYK’s assets, staff and customer contracts. SYK will continue to operate under its trading name SYK Recruitment Specialists Ltd.

The acquisition comes after a successful period recruiting for The Hospital Group and we felt this takeover would be a great opportunity to diversify into other sectors.

Managing Director James Sanders expanded and said: ‘We were approached by a private hospital in the summer to assist in their recruitment and we found our approached worked which led us to seriously consider the healthcare sector as an industry we can support.’

‘When we set out our 10-year business plan we knew we would need to diversify into new markets to achieve our goals. We didn’t know what sectors we were hoping to break into, and on this occasion it was more the sector found us.’

We are aiming to add to our experience and expertise in the contract market to SYK’s clients and to build on the current framework agreements SYK has in place such as the HealthTrust Europe Framework.

We have been providing recruitment services to the construction sector for nearly two decades. With 108 staff, 6 UK offices and in excess of £50m turnover, we have been continuously striving to expand our visibility and have now acquired SYK.
