Terms & conditions

  1. The PSR Solutions Limited Elf Escapes competition (the "Competition") is open to UK residents subject to paragraphs 2 and 3 below.
  2. Employees or agencies of PSR Solutions Limited (“PSR”) or their family members or anyone else connected with the Competition may not enter the Competition.
  3. Entrants must be resident in the UK from the time they submit their entry into the Competition.
  4. Subject to paragraphs 1, 2 and 3, the Competition is open to anyone.
  5. By entering this Competition an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions").
  6. Entries should be submitted via the Competition social media posts. PSR regrets that it is unable to accept postal or email entries.
  7. If the entrant has any questions about how to enter or in connection with the Competition, please e-mail PSR at: info@psrsolutions.co.uk with "PSR Elf Escapes" in the subject line.
  8. The entrant is responsible for the cost (if any) of sending his/her Competition entry to PSR.
  9. All entries must be received by the advertised closing time and date.  After this date no further entries will be accepted.
  10. Only one entry is permitted per person in the Competition. The winners shall be the owner of the correct answer randomly selected after the closing date.
  11. By submitting an entry to the Competition, the entrant grants PSR:
  12. Permission for the winner to be announced by PSR which includes, without limitation, publishing the winner details on PSR’s websites including but not limited to psrsolutions.co.uk and its associated social media channels.  and
  13. The right to use the entrant’s name and county of residence for the purpose of identifying the entrant as the author of the entry and/or as the Winner of the Competition.
  14. PSR has capped the charity donation to a maximum of £1000.

Selecting the Winner

  1. The PSR Sales and Marketing Team together with an independent judge, (together the "Judges") will choose one winning entry from all the valid Competition entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (the “Winners”). Full details of the judging process and the names of the Judges are available on request by emailing info@psrsolutions.co.uk.
  2. When choosing the Winners, the Judges will be looking for the answer containing the exact number of PSR Elves they see within the 90 second video clip. Theses individuals will then go into a had for random selection.
  3. The winning entry will be chosen by the Judges after 23:59 Thursday 19th December 2019. The Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Prize

  1. The 5 winners will win £20 in vouchers each (the “Prize”). PSR retains the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of similar value in the event that the original Prize offered is not available.
  2. The winner will be notified by PSR via email within 12 hours of being selected as the Winner and given details of how to claim his/her Prize. If the Winner does not respond to PSR within 24 hours of being notified by PSR of their win, then the Prize will be forfeited and the Judges shall be entitled to select another winner using the process referred to above (and that Winner will have 1 days to respond to the phone call or email from PSR or else they will also forfeit the Prize). If a Winner rejects the Prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, then the Winner's Prize will be forfeited and the Judges shall be entitled to select another winner using the process referred to above.
  3. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate Prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Competition.
  4. The Prize cannot be exchanged or transferred by the entrant and cannot be redeemed by the entrant for cash or any other prize. The entrant must pay all other costs associated with the Prize and not specifically included in the Prize.

Some other rules

  1. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
  2. PSR accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
  3. The name and county of the Winner can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: PSR Solutions, Prospect House, STAFFORD, ST18 9AB.
  4. There is no entry fee.
  5. The Winner may be required to take part in promotional activity related to the Competition and the Winner agrees to participate in such activity on PSR's reasonable request. The Winner consents to the use by PSR, both before and after the closing date of the Competition for an unlimited time, of the winners' voice, image, photograph and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by PSR) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Competition, all entrants consent to the same.
  6. PSR shall use and take care of any personal information supplied by the entrant to it as described in these Terms and Conditions and its privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen at https://www.psrsolutions.co.uk/privacy-policy, and in accordance with UK data protection and GDPR legislation. By entering the Competition, the entrant agrees to the collection, retention and use of his/her personal information in order to process and contact him/her about his/her Competition entry, and for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
  7. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network where PSR may publish details about this Competition.  Each entrant agrees to release Facebook from any and all liabilities in connection with the Competition, acceptance of the Prize and/or use or mis-use of the Prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  8. The promoter of the Competition is PSR Solutions Limited, Registered No. 6120765), Any complaints regarding the Competition should be sent to this address: Prospect House, STAFFORD, ST18 9AB.
  9. PSR accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury (other than liability for personal injury or death as a result of its negligence) or disappointment of any kind incurred or suffered by the entrant as a result of entering the Competition or accepting any prize. PSR further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to an entrant or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition.
  10. PSR reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of PSR in all matters relating to the Competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.  Any changes to the Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as practicable by PSR.
  11. PSR shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to this Competition where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
  12. The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and entrants to the Competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
