Jamie Andrews

I joined PSR in 2018 as a Midlands-based consultant working within Civil Engineering and Infrastructure. I work both freelance and permanent opportunities for top talent within the industry, and approach my work how I do with all my formal endeavours, with relentlessness and passion. By working with me for your next role or hire, you’ll be working in partnership with leading contractors as well as the best in local talent. I genuinely love seeing the area I live being improved constantly and I strive to introduce the best businesses to top quality candidates in my region.

The favourite part of my role is when I help junior candidates make their first career move into the industry. I also source individuals from lower level through to senior level, work on the largest and most exciting projects in the area (from ones that we will use every day to the smaller, more intricate projects that keep the country moving). It’s a really exciting time to work in Civil Engineering and the wider built environment, we are spoilt for choice with the vast array of large-scale construction projects here in the UK at the moment and it's great to see the candidates that PSR work with and place helping deliver these.

Outside of work I enjoy playing football (former semi-pro footballer) and I'm now a keen road cyclist. I regularly support local charities and my proudest charity event was when I cycled 200 miles over two days for our former colleague and great friend Tom Stevenson.
