Success after Redundancy: Facilities Management

There is nothing that our FM Specialist, Hayley Evans, doesn’t know about Facilities Management (FM).  “I joined PSR Solutions in April 2022 with 17 years of agency recruitment, predominantly in the Facilities Management (FM) sector. I was offered the role of a Trainee Consultant on a national FM desk, and this is where my knowledge and passion for both recruitment and FM began.” Hayley now works with high-quality clients and uses her recruitment and sector knowledge to help candidates secure their dream jobs with top-tier clients within the UK. 

Earlier this month, Hayley spoke with a candidate who had over 15 years of experience within the sector but had unfortunately found themselves looking for a new opportunity, as they had been made redundant from their previous employer of six years.

After a month out of work, they found themselves either being unemployed or accepting a role that wasn’t what they wanted. 

Hayley spoke to the candidate to try and better understand what they wanted from the job. Through Hayley's experience in the sector and the relationships she’s built up with clients, she knew of a client who had a role that was a great fit for the candidate and perfectly matched his requirements. 

Hayley spoke to the client and it became clear that this role was well-suited within two weeks of first contacting Hayley, the candidate had an offer and was on his way to starting his new role.
