Will the energy crisis affect salaries, resignations, working from home and job security?

Watching This Morning on Monday 5th September 2022, it left me slightly dumbfounded that the spin the wheel incentive now has the offer to pay energy bills instead of a cash prize. 

When the wheel landed on said option, the caller was also delighted, which I think perfectly summarises the predicament facing a lot of households and businesses currently. 

Good luck Liz Truss dealing with that, not that I'm holding out much hope. 

A few questions came to mind when seeing this though: 

1. Will this further drive up salary demands?
2. Would you rather seek a raise at your current company or move to another higher paying job?
3. Are you reconsidering work from home arrangements?
4. Do you think the impact of high energy bills and the consequent economic impacts will have an impact on your job security?

For me, a game show prize should always be a luxury, not a necessity.
