Groundworks Foreman

We're looking for an experienced Groundworks Foreman to lead a residential development project in Sturminster Newton. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in high‑quality work, can manage a small team efficiently, and keeps sites safe, productive, and well organised.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all groundworks operations on a busy residential site
• Manage and coordinate trades, labour, and subcontractors
• Ensure work is completed to spec, on time, and to a high standard
• Read and interpret site drawings
• Maintain health & safety standards and site compliance
• Communicate progress and issues with site management
• Problem‑solve on the ground to keep the project moving

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman or Groundworks Supervisor
• Strong knowledge of residential civils and infrastructure
• CSCS card essential
• SSSTS/SMSTS preferred
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Reliable, organised, and confident making decisions on site
