Location: Watford
Salary: £280-£350 per day

PSR Solutions are working with a leading contractor operating within the industrial construction sector, who are experiencing continued growth across the UK. As a result, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their expanding team and support the delivery of complex, high-value projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work with renowned clients on technically challenging schemes, within a business that values professionalism, safety and collaborative working.

The Role

You will be responsible for the successful setup, management and delivery of construction sites, working closely with clients, contractors, consultants and internal teams. The role requires a high level of confidence in project management, strong leadership skills and the ability to establish a safe, efficient and productive site culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the construction of complex, multi-disciplinary facilities, ideally within the food manufacturing sector, with project values ranging from £0.5m to £50m

• Managing projects through the full lifecycle, from concept and strategic planning through construction, completion and post-project review

• Establishing and maintaining robust site policies, procedures and health & safety standards

• Leading and managing medium to large site teams, including contractors and design teams

• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong working relationships

• Applying project management tools, techniques and best practices to ensure successful delivery

• Demonstrating strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management and value engineering, particularly within an industrial environment

• Supporting commercial aspects of projects where required (desirable but not essential)

• Willingness to travel to project locations across the UK

Key Required Attributes

• Minimum 3 years' experience in the construction industry

• Proven experience in a similar role; applications are welcomed from experienced Construction Managers as well as ambitious Site Managers or Site Agents looking to progress

• SMSTS certification with a strong commitment to health and safety best practice

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with and influence all project stakeholders

• Experience assisting with commercial management is advantageous but not essential
