Senior Site Manager - Large-Scale Residential / High-Rise Project

PSR Solutions is working with a leading construction contractor delivering high-value, high-rise residential developments across the UK. Due to an expanding pipeline, they are seeking an experienced senior site professional to join their on-site management team, overseeing delivery safely, on time, and to budget.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will lead the on-site management team on a technically challenging, multi-storey residential project in central London, with the superstructure already underway. You will coordinate all aspects of site operations, including planning, resourcing, subcontractor management, health & safety, and quality compliance.

This role requires a hands-on approach, working alongside project and commercial teams to ensure the smooth delivery of a high-profile development.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Project Manager to plan the project, agree site requirements, specifications, H&S proposals, and develop a programme

• Lead day-to-day site operations, including supervision of the workforce, subcontractors, and wider site management team

• Establish and maintain secure, organised site facilities for materials, plant, and tools

• Produce and maintain labour and material schedules to support programme and delivery

• Ensure all works comply with technical specifications, quality standards, and company procedures

• Maintain high Health & Safety standards, including inductions, toolbox talks, PPE compliance, and first aid facilities

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical or operational issues

• Oversee site logistics, plant, storage, and deliveries to ensure efficiency

• Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to senior management

• Support community engagement initiatives and uphold considerate construction practices

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in senior site management roles on high-rise or large-scale residential projects

• CSCS / CSR card at management level and qualified first aider

• Strong operational knowledge of Health & Safety, CDM, and site management best practices

• Experience delivering multi-storey projects, preferably with superstructure and basement works

• Excellent leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills

• Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and identifying efficiencies

• IT literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD

• Flexibility to work on projects across the UK & Ireland

• Right to work in the UK
