Location: Ledbury, Herefordshire
Hours: 37.5 Hours | Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: £65,000 per annum + Excellent Company Benefits

PSR Solutions are delighted to be supporting our values-driven client in Ledbury, Herefordshire, in their search for an experienced and dedicated Nursing Home Manager.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN and previous experience working across both care home and hospital settings, to oversee a range of specialist services within the local area.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for a medium sized nursing home; a small Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) unit; and the Minor Injuries Service for the local area.

Both services have Clinical Deputy Managers in post, with fully recruited nursing teams, providing excellent operational and clinical support to the Home Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse-qualified professional to provide visible and inspirational leadership, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and delivering strong service performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visible, authentic leadership and act as a positive role model to staff, fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement
• Oversee the day-to-day operations across all services
• Maintain overall responsibility for resident care, clinical standards and service performance
• Effectively manage resources, including budgets, occupancy and operational performance
• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements, including CQC, NMC and Health & Safety
• Lead, motivate and develop teams, working closely with the Clinical Deputy Managers
• Promote a positive culture focused on delivering outstanding person-centred care and outcomes

Experience

• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with an active NMC PIN - essential
• Previous management experience within a nursing/care home environment
• Experience working in both care home and hospital settings
• Experience of working with individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), mental health needs or complex care would be advantageous
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• A compassionate, professional and person-centred approach
