Freelance Quantity Surveyor - East Midlands / Woking
£450-£500 per day (DOE)

We are currently supporting a leading main contractor in their search for an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support a live project with a split working arrangement between their East Midlans office and a site in Woking.
This is an urgent requirement following a recent change in resource, and the client is looking to secure someone quickly either on a freelance basis.
Role Overview:
- Hybrid position split between office-based commercial duties in Derby and site-based work in Woking
- Full commercial management support across an active project
- Responsibility for subcontractor management, valuations, payments, and cost reporting
- Close liaison with operational and site teams
Key Requirements:
- Strong main contractor QS experience
- NEC contract experience (essential)
- Previous prison / secure environment project experience (desirable)
- Ability to work independently across both office and site environments
- Strong communication and commercial reporting skills
Additional Information:
- Rate: Up to approx. £500 per day (depending on experience)
- Immediate requirement
- Long-term potential for the right candidate
- Must be comfortable working between two locations
