Quantity Surveyor

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with project teams, clients and supply chain partners.

Depending on your level of experience, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of packages and projects, develop your commercial expertise and progress your career within a Tier 1 environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial delivery of projects and/or packages
• Cost control, forecasting and reporting
• Subcontractor procurement and management
• Valuations, variations and final accounts
• Contract administration and commercial risk management
• Working closely with operational and project teams
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team where appropriate

About You

• Quantity Surveyors with relevant main contractor experience
• Quantity Surveyors looking to take the next step into a Senior QS position
• Senior Quantity Surveyors with experience managing commercial aspects of major projects
• Candidates with experience across commercial, education, high-rise or similar sectors
