Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their established pre-construction team.

As Senior Estimator, you will take ownership of the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission, ensuring competitive, accurate and commercially robust bids are prepared for projects ranging from £10m to £250m.
Working closely with the commercial, operational and design teams, you will play a key role in securing future work and contributing to the continued success of the business.
Senior Estimator roles & responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and submission of competitive tenders for major construction projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Produce detailed cost estimates and pricing schedules.
- Obtain, assess and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Identify project risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders throughout the tender process.
- Attend pre-tender meetings, site visits and client presentations where required.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current market rates and industry trends.
- Mentor and support junior estimating staff where appropriate.
Senior Estimator requirements
- Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator working for a UK main contractor
- Experience pricing medium to large scale projects
- Experience working across the commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial or public sectors
- The ability to manage multiple tenders while working to strict deadlines.
- Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- HNC/HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline is desirable.
