Site Engineer

Freelance Engineer - Leeds based - 12 months work

PSR Solutions is partnered with a key client at the moment who are on the lookout for a freelance Engineer with a strong groundwork's background to work on a new project in the Leeds area.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining line & level control

• Measurements & Calculations

• Interpretation of technical drawings

• Providing technical assistance to the project team where required

• Coordinating the technical aspects of package handovers

• Checking the accuracy of sub-contractors work where require

• Managing subcontractors and site teams

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Assisting with QA checks and temporary works where required

• Supporting the supervision of subcontractors and site teams

• Ensuring all works comply with specifications and Health & Safety standards

• Assisting with day-to-day site operations to keep programmes on track

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Groundwork Engineer

• Valid CSCS card (SMSTS and First Aid advantageous)

• Experience on projects £10m+ desirable

• Ability to read drawings and take measurements

• Right to work in the UK
