Painter & Decorator - Sheffield City Council Wet Room Programme

We are currently recruiting for experienced Painters & Decorators to work on an ongoing Sheffield City Council Wet Room Programme.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering high-quality refurbishment works within occupied social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by filling, sanding and making good.

• Apply specialist moisture-resistant and bathroom paints to wet rooms and associated areas.

• Carry out high-quality painting and decorating works to walls, ceilings, woodwork and surrounding areas.

• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard with excellent attention to detail.

• Work safely and professionally within occupied council properties.

• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator.

• Previous experience within social housing or occupied properties is desirable.

• Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).

• Own tools and brushes/rollers.

• CSCS card (preferred but not essential).

• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

• Excellent customer service skills when working in tenants' homes.
