Nathan Hazelwood

As a Director of PSR my number one priority is our people. I believe in working to a core set of values whilst helping to drive and deliver those values and purpose driven recruitment services, to our employees and clients.

My passion for construction stems from my time working on site in the industry. I have a genuine interest in the build process and having experienced it first hand, can offer specialist and technical knowledge, that develops our staff and in turn improves service levels to our clients. My passion for helping others is what lead me to changing from working on site to securing people employment.

The fundamentals of my role include business development, people development, strategy and employee engagement. These fundamentals have helped to progress our staff organically through their career at PSR and I am proud that the majority of our senior management team have been developed organically within PSR. My biggest satisfaction comes from seeing others succeed whether that be, a trainee passing through our academy, a consultant making their first placement, a support team member passing an audit or a staff member being promoted, success is success and it all contributes to our culture and progress.

I currently oversee teams covering Construction in the London and Home Counties areas, sectors they cover include Commercial, Residential, Civil Engineering and Infrastructure, M&E and Industrial, I also oversee our Rail Team, they operate nationwide on several framework agreements and cover a multiple aspects of the industry including Project Delivery, Engineering , commercial, Design , pre construction , labour and Safety Critical.

I place huge emphasis and encourage personal development, therefore in spare time when I’m not playing taxi to my children, I enjoy training and reading/listening to podcasts on topics such as self-development, health and wellbeing, mindset, investing and business.
