About us

Founded in 2005 by James Sanders and Mark Palmer, PSR was established out of a desire to provide comprehensive and personalised recruitment services to construction professionals.

Over the years, our focussed approach has helped build PSR into the company it is today and we have an enviable reputation as one of the leading providers of freelance and permanent managerial and technical staff to the UK construction industry. Our experienced consultants specialise only in construction recruitment and in specific market sectors such as Building, Civil Engineering and Infrastructure, Residential, Mechanical and Electrical, Rail and Fit-out. This means that when you are looking for your next career move or you need a position to be filled, our team is on hand to understand your expectations and use their network and knowledge to find the perfect job for you of fill your vacancy with the most suitable candidate.

With offices located in the Midlands and London, we are in prime positions to service the UK construction industry. We place candidates throughout the UK into many market-leading regional contractors as well as national and multinational blue-chip clients.

Opening its doors in January 2016, we also have an office situated in the heart of the Dubai business district which is set to become our hub for global ventures in construction recruitment. Accompanied by PSR co-founder and International Business Development Director, Mark Palmer, our new team of highly skilled recruitment consultants lead the overseas activity to extend our high-quality construction recruitment service to clients and candidates alike.

We are a corporate member of the The Recruitment & Employment Confederation.  The REC represents the UK’s private recruitment and staffing industry.  As a member we abide by its Code of Professional Practice.

 

PSR is an accredited member of The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme.  CHAS assesses the health and safety competence of suppliers operating in the public and private sectors.

We are EXOR accredited and have undertaken a rigorous programme of conformity that verifies us as a supplier on a wide range of compliance issues including health and safety, finance, quality and the environment.

 

 

We are Committed 2 Equality accredited. C2E is a nationally recognised diversity assured accreditation programme which helps organisations develop and improve their own approach to equality

We are a RISQS (formerly knows as Achilles Link-Up) approved supplier.  RISQS is a an independent third party that supports the UK rail industry’s pre-qualification scheme and is recognised as best practice in qualifying suppliers.  RISQS is used extensively by buyer organisations to manage risk and comply with legislation.
